Who We Are

Maine Coast Stove & Chimney was established in October, 2010 by Robert Conlin and his wife Eve. Robert founded Maine Coast Chimney in 2006 and spent five years running the chimney service business before opening the retail shop, which was the site of a John Deere dealership before its present incarnation. The couple has six children ages 1-13, so if they appear tired, that's because they are!

Ross Field, the company's lead service tech, has spent 17 years in the chimney business. He worked in Newport, Brunswick and Harpswell before starting with Maine Coast Stove & Chimney in 2008. There is nothing about chimneys that Ross does not know and very few things chimney-related he has not seen.

Nick Merry, a Wiscasset native, joined the company in 2010. When he's not climbing
roofs and hoofing ladders, he's a lieutenant on the Wiscasset Fire Department and an EMT. Whenever there's a siren in Wiscasset, Nick's usually in close proximity.

Todd and Nancy Erkmann help man the store. Wiscasset residents, the couple have worn many hats - from elementary school teacher to boat salesman and ice rink manager.

Sarah Sherman is a 7th generation resident of Southport Island and a whiz when it comes to organizing virtually everything. Thanks to Sarah, we can find information that was previously out of reach.
